Recursions

Each day is the same,

except that which was different
          yesterday
                    from the day before,

and that which is different today
depends on what others and I did yesterday,

just like that which will be different tomorrow
depends on what others and I do today,

in response to that which is the same
          and different today from
                    yesterday,

including how our responses today
          differ from what our responses would have been
                    yesterday,

if today were yesterday,
          and tomorrow were today,

save for all the things that change naturally.

Each week is the same,
