God's Love Bosons

Awkward symmetry breaking
relationships hurt, with one person too
young, the other too old, yet another
too educated, sex every night or just
Sunday mornings, penetrating passions
frustrated by boundaries, work,
spouses, go, stay, more, enough.
Was it good for you too?

Greeks held Cupid shot love’s darts
arbitrarily. Poets know love’s
bosons break the symmetries of love’s
strong attracting force, as the Higgs
boson breaks the symmetries
of the Universe’s elementary particles.
